Product Overview

HMC345ALP3E is a broadband non-reflective GaAs MESFET SP4T switch. Covering DC to 8GHz, this switch offers high isolation and low insertion loss. This switch also includes an on board binary decoder circuit which reduces the required logic control lines to two. This switch operates using a positive control voltage of 0/+5V, and requires a fixed bias of +5V. It is widely used in applications such as broadband, fiber optics, switched filter banks, wireless below 8GHz etc.

  • High isolation is 35dB at (DC - 6GHz, TA = +25°C, with 0/+5V control)
  • Insertion loss is 1.7dB typical at (DC - 2GHz, TA = +25°C, with 0/+5V control)
  • Input power for 1dB compression is 28dBm typical at (2GHz to 8GHz, TA = +25°C, with 0/+5V control)
  • Input third order intercept is 43dBm typical at (2GHz to 8GHz, TA = +25°C, with 0/+5V control)
  • Switching characteristics is 40ns typical at (DC - 8GHz, TA = +25°C, Vctl = 0/+5V control)
  • Return loss is 16dB typical at (DC - 2GHz, TA = +25°C, with 0/+5V control)
  • Operating temperature is -40°C to +85°C
  • Package style is 16-lead QFN
