AD7858LARZ

AD7858 is a high-speed, low-power, 12bit ADC that operates from a single 3V or 5V power supply, it is being optimized for speed. The ADC powers up with a set of default conditions at which time it can be operated as a read-only ADC. The ADC contains self-calibration and system calibration options to ensure accurate operation over time and temperature and has a number of power-down options for low-power applications. The part powers up with a set of default conditions and can operate as a read-only ADC. Application includes battery-powered systems (personal digital assistants, medical instruments, mobile communications), pen computers, instrumentation and control systems, and high-speed modems.

• Minimum signal to noise + distortion ratio (SNR) is 70dB (typically SNR is 72dB, -40 to +85°C)
• Total harmonic distortion (THD) is -78dB max (VIN=10KHz sine wave, fSAMPLE=200KHz, 100KHz)
• Second order terms is -78dB typ (fa=9.983KHz, fb=10.05KHz, fSAMPLE=200KHz, 100KHz)
• Channel-to-channel isolation is –90dB typ ( VIN=25KHz, AVDD=DVDD=+3.0V to +5.5V)
• Resolution is 12bits (AVDD=DVDD=+3.0V to +5.5V)
• Automatic calibration on power-up, system and self-calibration
• Flexible power management options including automatic power-down after conversion
• Automatic power-down after conversion (25W), low power
• System and self-calibration with auto calibration on power-up
• SOIC package, operating temperature range from -40 to +85°C
