Product Overview
WTF083B004 Thermometrics coolant temperature sensor (CTS) monitors the temperature of the coolant that is being pumped around the battery to cool the battery module in electric vehicles (EV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV). The purpose of this sensor is to relay signal to the battery management system (BMS) in the event of overheating. Applications include battery coolant, HVAC refrigerant, gear box oil, inverter coolant, fuel cell.
