79260 SL005

The 79260 SL005 is a 8-core Shielded Cable with tinned copper conductor and a mPPE insulator. This multi-core cable comes with a slate mPPE jacket, aluminium/polyester/aluminium Supra-Shield® foil with and tinned copper braid shield (70% minimum coverage). The EcoFlex® is the newest innovation in flexing control cables. By combining better performance and minimum environmental impact, EcoFlex® uses its mPPE insulation and jacketing to provide all of the advantages in a smaller and lighter flexible control cable. The EcoGen™ products contain no halogens, phthalates or heavy metals. The mPPE thermoplastic insulation and jacketing can be easily recycled. The 1.03 specific gravity of mPPE is 25% to 40% lower than other insulation materials, such as PVC, polyethylene and cross-linked polyethylene. It is suitable for use in NFPA 79 applications.
