PiTFT Mini Kit - 320x240 2.8" TFT LCD + Capacitive Touchscreen for the Raspberry Pi Looking for a small touchscreen display to use in your next Raspberry Pi project? This petite TFT LCD display measures 2.8" from corner to corner and features capacitive touch sensing just like your smart phone. This allows for more responsive inputs using just your finger and a sharper display since the light doesn't have to pass through a grid of resistive wires. The display can output full 16-bit color and connects to the Pi's GPIO port using the high-speed SPI interface. The display was designed for the Model B but works with and fits the B+, A+, and Pi 2 (there is a bit of overhang but only 5mm or so.) The connection uses the i2C Pins (SCL & SDA), SPI pins (SCK, MOSI, MISO, CE0), and 2 GPIO Pins (#25 & #24) leaving the other GPIOs unused. There are also connections for 4 tactile switches (optional - not included but available ) which are wired to 4 additional GPIO pins so you can make a basic interface.
