The 71F-187-20-NL from 3M is a nylon insulated female disconnect. The crimp type female disconnect will electrically and mechanically connect to the prestripped end of a stranded copper wire. It has a tongue portion with fingers which grip a male quick slide in a separable, reusable manner forming a quick connect wiring termination. This female disconnect is tin plated 0.016" thick brass with a tongue for gripping a 0.187" x 0.020" male tab as per ANSI/NEMA CD-2 standard. It has a 0.250" long barrel covered by a moulded nylon funnel entry sleeve which extends to cover the tongue and suitable for 22AWG to 18AWG wire size.
