Altistart 22 soft-starter unit is a controller for torque-controlled soft starting and stopping of three-phase squirrel cage asynchronous motor. This Schneider Electric Altistart 22 soft-start/soft-stop unit can feed 3-phase asynchronous motors in supply line or delta connection with a rating of 62A and 230 to 440V, a rated power up to 30KW(400 to 440V in supply line) and up to 55KW(400 to 440V in motor delta connection). This Soft-start/soft-stop unit is designed to enable smooth start and stop of simple and complex machines such as centrifugal and piston pumps, fans, screw compressors and material handling equipment. It features a PTC thermal probe input to detect motor overheating as well as multiple other motor monitoring functions.
