Product Overview
120-1-A-5/2 is a 120 series ultra high density 4mm² (4mm x 4mm (0.157in x 0.157in) footprint) single-pole reed relay designed for ATE switching matrices and multiplexers where maximum channel count matters. It supports high density / ultra high density layouts thanks to an internal mu-metal magnetic screen that permits side-by-side stacking on a 4mm pitch, while maintaining low leakage performance with insulation resistance greater than 10¹² ohm. Two switch options are available: a general-purpose sputtered ruthenium switch rated up to 1A / 20W (15W at 3V), and a low-level version rated 0.5A / 10W optimized for cold-switching techniques. Standard operating temperature is –20 to +85°C, with high temperature use up to +125°C possible when coil drive is increased to compensate for copper’s resistance/temperature coefficient. Typical applications include test & measurement, semiconductor testing and portable devices.
