Product Overview
The NCP1403 is a monolithic PFM step-up DC-DC converter. This device is designed to boost a single Lithium or two cell AA/AAA battery voltage up to 15 V (with internal MOSFET) output for handheld applications. A pullup Chip Enable feature is built with this device to extend battery-operating life. Besides, the device can also be incorporated in step-down, and voltage-inverting configurations.
- 82% efficiency at Vout = 15V, Iout = 50mA, Vin = 5.0V
- 78% efficiency at Vout = 15V, Iout = 30mA, Vin = 3.6V
- PFM switching frequency up to 300 kHz
