TDA8034AT/C1,118 is a smart card interface. It is a cost-effective analog interface for asynchronous and synchronous smart cards operating at 5V or 3V. Using a few external components, the TDA8034AT provides all supply, protection, and control functions between a smart card and the microcontroller. The application includes pay TV, electronic payment, identification, and bank card readers.
- Integrated circuit smart card interface package
- Thermal and short-circuit protection for all card contacts
- Enhanced card-side ElectroStatic Discharge (ESD) protection of <gt/> 6kV
- External clock input up to 26MHz connected to pin XTAL1
- Non-inverted control of pin RST using pin RSTIN
- Using a fixed threshold, using an external resistor bridge with threshold adjustment
- Built-in debouncing on card presence contacts, multiplexed status signal using pin OFFN
- Power supply voltage range from 4.85 to 5.5V (Tamb = 25°C, pin VDDP)
- SO16 package
- Ambient temperature range from -25 to +85°C
