Product Overview
The MCIMX23LEVKJC is an evaluation kit for i.MX233 applications processor preconfigured with Linux. The i.MX233 applications processor based on the ARM926EJ-S can run at speeds up to 454MHz and is targeted for cost sensitive consumer applications. The power management unit (PMU) integrates a DC to DC switching converter and multiple linear regulators to provide power sequencing for the device itself and drive I/O peripherals such as memories and SD cards as well as providing battery charging capability for Li Ion batteries. Allowing customers to develop, debug and demonstrate their next great product without compromising performance. The kit supports all the features of the device in a small, single board design and an optional LCD add on module to enable a developer's complete platform at a low price. The provided BSP for Linux enables rapid prototyping to help speed up the processor selection process and quickly deliver a demo into the hands of the project stakeholders.
