The 230425 CAL from Megger is an AC/DC high-pot tester. This tester is designed for safety, ease of operation and readily adapt to development, maintenance or production testing. The AC/DC high-pot tester will automatically shut down if ground circuit resistance of the test object exceeds 15ohm at any time during testing. This feature may be bypassed when testing double-insulated devices or when using test probes. It provides a slide switch to select either ac or dc test voltage. This instrument is used to test the dielectric strength of electrical insulation and the ground circuit continuity of three-wire appliances and other devices.
