Product Overview
The MX7545JCWP+ is a CMOS, buffered, 12bit multiplying digital to analogue converter (DAC) with internal data latches in 20 pin WSOIC package. Input data is loaded as a single 12bit word and latched under the control of active low CS and active low WR inputs. When active low CS and active low WR are low, the input data latches are transparent and the DAC output responds to any changes in the digital input. It uses low tempco thin film resistors which are laser-trimmed to result in linearity errors that are typically ±¼LSB and gain errors of maximum ±20LSB. The digital inputs are designed with improved protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage and can typically withstand over 6000V of ESD voltages. Typically used at µP-controlled calibration circuitry, automatic test equipment, motion control systems, programmable gain amplifiers and programmable power supplies.
