Product Overview
The MAX149ACAP+ is a +2.7V to +5.25V, low power, 8-channel, serial 10bit analogue to digital converter (ADC) in 20 pin SSOP package. This ADC use a successive-approximation conversion technique and input track/hold (T/H) circuitry to convert an analogue signal to a 10bit digital output at sample rate of 133Ksps. A flexible serial interface provides easy interface to microprocessors (μPs), device provide a hard-wired SHDN(complementary) pin and a software-selectable power-down and can be programmed to automatically shut down at the end of conversion. This device is used in data acquisition, pen digitizers and process control.

- SPI/QSPI/MICROWIRE/TMS320 compatible 4-wire serial interface
- Software configurable unipolar/bipolar and single-ended/differential operation
- Low power of 1.2mA (133Ksps, 3V supply), 54µA (1Ksps, 3V supply) and 1µA (power-down mode)
- Maximum relative accuracy (INL) is ±0.5LSB, maximum differential nonlinearity (DNL) is ±1LSB
- Maximum gain error is ±1LSB
- Small signal bandwidth is 2.25MHz at -3dB roll-off, total harmonic distortion is -70dB
- Internal 2.5V reference
- Use either internal clock or an external serial-interface clock
