Field terminable Category 8 rated plug is suitable for 10, 25 or 40 Gigabit networks. Termination is quick, easy, repeatable and does not require any special tools. Rated for 4 pair, PoE++ applications, this plug can be mated and unmated even while under electrical load without fear of damage. A metal shell provides shielding from EMI and RFI and makes the plug more durable than a plastic alternative. Accepts solid or stranded conductor cable equally. Each plug comes with an IDC cap, dust cap and installation instructions. Typical application include Category 6a, 7 and 8 networks, Industrial monitoring and control, test and measurement, field installations and repair, I/O connectivity.
