Product Overview
VDV500-223 is a digital tracing probe to trace cables and wires on active and non-active networks when used with the Digital Tone Generator (VDV500-163; sold separately). It features a responsive, durable, replaceable non-metallic, conductive tip and a work light for use in dark spaces. A headphone jack allows for headphone (not included) use in extreme noise environments.
- Tool-less, twist-and-lock replacement tip (VDV999-070) available
- 60Hz filter for accurate tracing, works with Klein's Scout® Pro and Lan Scout® Jr. testers
- Auto power-off and low battery indicator
- Power on LED indicator
- Wire mapping capabilities to check pin-to-pin connections with shield detection
