The N5423A is an I²C and SPI serial Data Decode for InfiniiVision 6000 and 7000B series oscilloscopes display responsive, time-aligned, on-screen decode of inter-integrated circuit and 2-wire or 3-wire serial peripheral interface (SPI) serial communication busses.. It provides the fastest throughput solution for triggering on and analysing I²C and SPI serial busses found in a wide variety of embedded designs. It can easily isolate serial packets to find sources of errors due hardware or software related problems. This application requires a 4-channel DSO or 4-channel MSO and can use any combination of the scope or logic acquisition channels.
