SP30

The SP30 is a Soldering Paste Flux suspension of a zinc chloride solution in petrolatum. It is a highly active flux designed for general soldering requirements. Rapid soldering can be accomplished on most metal surfaces, except aluminum and stainless steel. Like other inorganic acid fluxes, it is too corrosive for electrical or electronics soldering applications. In all cases, the flux residue should be removed after soldering to avoid any corrosion problem. For general purpose applications, such as plumbing or radiator soldering, simply wipe off the residue with a damp cloth. For more thorough cleaning requirements, immerse in flux residue remover to dissolve the petrolatum, followed by a thorough hot water rinse.
