AR166 Advanced RTOS is an advanced real time kernel for the Infineon XC16x and C16x as well as the STMicroelectronics ST10 families of microcontrollers. It is designed to solve several problems in embedded programs. While it is possible to implement an embedded program without using a real time kernel, a proven kernel like AR saves time and makes software development easier.
