The LE50ABD-TR is a very low-dropout Voltage Regulator with inhibit function and low quiescent current make it particularly suitable for low-noise and low-power applications. This device is pin-to-pin compatible with the L78L series and uses a shutdown logic control. This means that when the device is used as a local regulator, a part of the board can be put in standby and decreasing the total power consumption. In the 3-terminal configuration, the device is always in on-state. It requires a 2.2μF capacitor for stability and reducing the component size.
