MAX3483AEASA+

The MAX3483AEASA+ is a 3.3V powered, ±20KV ESD protected slew rate limited RS485/RS422 transceiver in 8 pin NSOIC package. It is optimized for extended cable runs in noisy environments and operates from a single 3.3V supply. The receiver features unit load input impedance allowing up to 32 devices on a single bus. Each transceiver includes a fail-safe receiver ensuring that the receiver output (RO) is high when inputs are shorted, open or connected to a tri-state bus. It features enhanced electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection. All transmitter outputs and receiver inputs are protected to ±20KV HBM ESD, ±15KV air gap ESD and ±8KV contact ESD in accordance to IEC 61000-4-2.
