D38999/44WF35AN is a DLA QPL qualified, MIL-DTL-38999 Series IV Environmental, breech coupling, 38999/44 jam-nut mount receptacle with rear release crimp contacts. The Series IV offers the industry's most robust mating with a 90degree quarter-turn breech-lock mate with visual, tactile and audible engagement confirmation. The rugged construction of the D38999 Series IV connector disperses the mating force across a channeled metal flange while threaded mechanical force provides friction, locking the mating halves securely. It features accessory threads and environmental sealing for reliable attachment of back shells. Widely used in missile applications and other defense and aerospace applications where robust mating and extreme resistance to vibration and shock is required.
