The 1621-60008 from Amphenol SV Microwave is a 2.4mm high frequency (DC - 50 GHz) Female Edge Launch Jack, Ø 0.012" pin for 0.062" PCB thickness, that meets the need for high performing, highly reliable precision connectors in high speed PCB applications. This RF connector uses a thick outer wall to eliminate the fragility seen in SMA and 2.92mm connectors. The female socket is strengthened to ensure reliable mating. This 2.4mm series mates with SMA, 3.5mm and 2.92mm connectors with adapters and can mate with the 1.85mm series without adapters. Features VSWR of 1.03 + .005 f, shielding effectiveness of ≥ 100dB and is corrosion, vibration, shock and thermal shock resistant. Typical applications include high speed digital instrumentation, military, aerospace, satellite communication equipment (SATCOM), cable assemblies, test and measurement.
