The A3L980-50-ORG-S from Belkin is a CAT6 Snagless Ethernet patch cable. The CAT6 Ethernet patch cable has an RJ45 male connector on each end. Internal load bars ensure accurate plug positioning and consistent high performance while 50micron gold-plated connectors resist corrosion and wear and deliver a clean, clear signal. Replacing CAT5 cables that don’t support 100Base-T or Gigabit Ethernet can improve the return loss in your current network by 40%. It meets the CAT6 Ethernet network cable standard and can support Ethernet speeds of up to 1GBps. Unlike CAT5 technology, CAT6 cables fully use all four pairs of twisted copper wires for greater bandwidth and speed. The CAT6 Ethernet patch cable features 4 Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) 24AWG stranded copper wires to reduce electromagnetic interference. Stranded cables are more pliable than solid cables making them better suited for travel. Plus, the wires are housed in a durable PVC outer jacket for abrasion and corrosion resistance.
