MAX643AESA+

The MAX643AESA+ is a fixed output 10W CMOS step-up switching regulator in 8 pin NSOIC package. This regulator is preset to +15V output voltage however it can be set to other levels by adding 2 resistors. Device is designed for minimum component DC-DC converter circuit in 5mW to 10mW range. It is used in uninterruptible board level power supplies, power conditioning for battery systems and portable instruments and communication.

• Operating voltage range from 2V to 16.5V
• Oscillator frequency is 50KHz at Vout = +15V
• Oscillator duty cycle is 50%
• Supply current of 0.75mA at Vout = +15V
• Internal reference voltage of 1.31V at TA= +25°C
• Typical efficiency of 80% (with external MOSFET)
• Line regulation of 0.08%Vout, operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
• Load regulation of 0.2%Vout
• On-chip driver for high power external MOSFET
