Product Overview
The MAX642ACPA+ is a fixed output 10W CMOS step-up switching regulator in 8 pin DIP package. This regulator is preset to +12V output voltage however can be set to other levels by adding 2 resistors. Device is designed for minimum component DC-DC converter circuit in 5mW to 10mW range. It is used in uninterruptible board level power supplies, power conditioning for battery systems and portable instruments and communication.
