Product Overview
MAX1735EUK50+T is a negative-output, low-dropout linear regulator. An internal N-channel MOSFET allows for a low 85µA quiescent current virtually independent of the load, making this device ideal for battery-powered portable equipment, such as PDAs, mobile phones, cordless phones, and wireless data modems. Applications include disk drives, modems, instrumentation amplifiers, notebook computers, PCMCIA cards, GaAsFET bias, and palmtop computers.
- Stable with 1µF COUT
- Thermal overload protection, short-circuit protection
- Input voltage range from -6.5 to -2.5V
- Output voltage accuracy is 1% max at TA=+25°C, IOUT=-100µA
- Maximum output current is -200mA at VIN=VOUT - 1V, VSHDN=VIN, TA=-40°C to +85°C
- Dropout voltage is 40mV at IOUT=-100mA, VIN=VOUT - 1V, VSHDN=VIN, TA=-40°C to +85°C
- Low 85µA quiescent supply current
- Power-supply rejection ratio is 60dB at f=100Hz, VIN=VOUT - 1V, VSHDN=VIN, TA=-40°C to +85°C
- 5 SOT23-5 package
