Product Overview
DC665A demonstration circuit is a Hot Swap™ controller designed for a dual +/- 12V system. This demo board is optimized for 2A maximum operating current. It features LT4220’s circuit breaker that is immune from transient currents arising from load dump, voltage spikes and input steps. The board demonstrates tracking, current limiting and auto-retry features. The DC665 is designed for bench testing evaluation or direct testing by substitution into an existing circuit board.
- On-board input and output clamps
- Jumpers to select auto-retry, tracking or remote sensing
- Vin operating range from -12V to +12V
- UVLO: +/-10V off, +/-10.4V on
- Programmed inrush current (470µF) is 470mA
