The 10236-6212PC is a 36-way 0.050-inch board-mount through-hole vertical shielded Mini D Ribbon Receptacle with gold-plated copper alloy contacts. This 102 series mini D ribbon (MDR) connector features PBT insulation and gold-plated solder tail. It comes with a rugged die-cast metal case construction and has screw lockdown for reliable PCB retention. The MDR is a half pitch interconnect system designed to meet the needs of high speed/density input/output applications. Pre-loaded ribbon contacts provide proven reliable connection. The receptacle contains pre-loaded contacts for reliable contact during insertion and withdrawal cycles. The cable connectors utilize an insulation stripping U-contact to connect to the cable conductor wires. The contact is stamped from a high performance copper alloy, which provides an excellent combination of mechanical strength, electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance.
