6006

The 6006 is an olive multi acid gas/organic Vapor Cartridge helps to provide gas and vapor protection in a variety of environments. The cartridge may be used for gas and vapor concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half face-pieces or 50 times PEL with quantitatively fit tested full face-pieces. This multi gas and vapor cartridge works with 3M™ half and full face-pieces 6000, 7000 and FF-400 series with bayonet holders. This cartridge utilizes sorbent to filter the gas or vapor molecules. Typically the sorbent is activated carbon. Different chemical treatments may also be added to the surface of the activated carbon to adsorb different types of gases or vapors. When the cartridge reaches its capacity, the gases or vapors start to come through the cartridge. It is suitable for respiratory protection.
