Newark Moves Headquarters to Chicago’s West Loop
Global electronics distribution company relocates from Ravenswood neighborhood to custom-built Riverside office
September 8, 2014 – CHICAGO – Newark, a Chicago-based high-service distributor of electronic components and engineering solutions, has relocated its Americas headquarters from Ravenswood to the West Loop. The tech company’s new offices are located at 300 S. Riverside Plaza in Suite 2200.

Newark occupies all of the 22nd and part of the 23rd floors of their new location – the top two in the building – totaling 65,000 square feet. All 350 Chicago-based employees have been transferred to the new location.
The company, with an 80-year history of leading innovation in electronic components distribution, partnered with architect Solomon Cordwell Buenz (SCB) to develop an open concept for the new office that resembles an electronic circuit board – symbolic of the company’s product offerings.
