Premier Farnell expands global partnership with Emerson Network Power
Deal brings new product lines to customers in Europe & APAC
London28 June, 2013 – Premier Farnell plc (LSE:pfl), the leading high service distributor of electronic components, has announced the expansion of its partnership with Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson (NYSE: EMR) and global leader in RF, microwave, and optical connectivity solutions for the delivery of voice, video, and data.
Already a distributor of Emerson Connectivity Solutions product lines, the new agreement will bring the popular lines of Johnson and Trompeter RF connectivity products to customers in both Asia Pacific and Europe. Currently European customers have access to the Semflex DKT cable assemblies.
Emerson Connectivity Solutions and Premier Farnell have partnered to provide design engineers with quality products and outstanding service via Premier Farnell's trading brands element14 (Asia Pacific), Farnell element14 (Europe) and Newark (North America).
The Trompeter line is recognised as delivering best in class RF connectivity products. Their line of patch jacks, RF connectors, cable assemblies, HDTV digital technology and DS3 connectivity solutions deliver some of the highest quality signal integrity for the most demanding applications in telecom, broadcast, military aerospace and instrumentation markets. Johnson designs and manufactures an industry-leading line of RF coaxial connectors and adapters, which are available in both 50 and 75 ohm versions.
Johnson's line of connectors is designed to provide the highest quality data transmission for audio, video and data applications. Johnson has a strong presence in the RF and microwave industry as a leader in new technology for both PCB and cable mount applications.
