Fischer Elektronik names Newark as its sole North American distributor

CHICAGO, SEPTEMBER 15, 2011

Popular European extruded heat sinks offer unique profiles for industrial design and LED applications

Newark, a leading multi-channel, high-service electronics distributor in the Americas, and a business of Premier Farnell, announced today that it has signed a franchise agreement with Fischer Elektronik to market its board-level heat sinks for common package semiconductors plus extruded and finger-shaped heat sinks to support LED design and industrial applications. This agreement extends an existing franchise with Farnell, Newark’s sister distributor in Europe.
