The 6340AXXMDS-DC3 is a Magnecraft® panel mount Solid State Relay offer an energy-efficient, current switching alternative to standard electromechanical relays. Advantages include longer life cycles and less energy consumption. It provides isolation between input and output circuits. A SSR (solid state relay) can perform many tasks that an EMR (electromechanical relay) can perform. The SSR differs in that it has no moving mechanical parts within it. It is essentially an electronic device that relies on the electrical, magnetic and optical properties of semiconductors and electrical components to achieve its isolation and relay switching function. It is suitable for applications that have high cycle rates and require reliable and silent operations.
