### Resistance

Opposition to current flow. Basic unit is the ohm (Ω)

Electromotive force. Basic unit is the volt (V)

Movement of electricity. Basic unit is the ampere (A)

Number of cycles per second. Basic unit is the hertz (Hz)

### Operating Life for Capacitors

Where operating life is given at a certain temperature, for every drop of 10°C life expectancy will double.
If life expectancy is 1,000 hours at 105°C
this would double to 2,000 hours at 95°C
and double again to 4,000 hours at 85°C
