Product Overview

The EKMC1603111 from Panasonic is a long distance detection type passive infrared motion sensor in TO-5 package. This sensor detects change in infrared radiation which occurs, when there is a movement by a person or object by the change in surrounding temperature. There are several conditions to sense target such as temperature difference between target and surroundings should be 4°C, movement speed is 1.0m/s and target size is 700mm x 250mm. EKMC1603111 is mainly used in lighting, Anti crime devices, home appliances, commercial equipments and audio and visual devices.
  • Simplified digital output circuitry
  • Current consumption is 170μA
  • White lens colour
  • Lens material is polyethylene
  • Maximum detection range is 12m
  • Operating voltage range from 3VDC to 6VDC
  • Output current is 100μA
  • Excellent resistance to electromagnetic noise
  • High signal/noise ratio to minimize false operation
  • Maximum circuit stability time is 30s
