Product Overview

The MIKROE-1197 is a Thermo Click accessory board in mikroBUS form factor. The mikroBUS is specially designed pin out standard with SPI, I2C, Analogue, UART, Interrupt, PWM, Reset and Power supply pins. Thermo Click accessory board features MAX31855K thermocouple to digital converter as well as PCC-SMP connector for K-type thermocouple probes. The MAX31855K has temperature range between -270°C and 1372°C with sensitivity of about 41uV/°C. It has built in 14bit ADC converter. The Thermo Click communicates with target board via SPI interface and it has a LED diode (GREEN) that indicates the presence of power supply. The board is designed to use 3.3V power supply only. The MIKROE-1197 Click board does not come with the headers pre-soldered. Before using your THERMO click board, make sure to solder the 1x8 male headers to both the left and right side of the board. Two 1x8 male headers are included with the board in the package.

In order to use THERMO Click board you need to connect the appropriate K-type thermocouple probe, MIKROE-1302 (not included in the package), into the PCC-SMP connector.
