Product Overview

The MAX6126A21+ is a high precision, ultra low noise, low dropout, series voltage reference in 8 pin µMax package. This voltage reference features curvature correction circuitry, high stability and laser trimmed thin film resistors that result in 2ppm/°C temperature coefficients and an excellent ±0.06% (maximum) initial accuracy. The low noise reference architecture produces a low flicker noise of 1.3µVP-P and wideband noise as low as 60nV/√Hz without increased supply current usually found in low noise references. The wideband noise is improved to 35nV/√Hz and AC power supply rejection is also improved by adding 0.1µF capacitor at noise reduction pin. The load regulation specifications are less than 0.025ohm for sink and source currents up to 10mA. The MAX6126A21+ offers supply current that is virtually independent of supply voltage and does not require an external resistor.

  • Quiescent supply current is 380µA at 25°C
  • Stable with capacitive load stability range (Cload) from 0.1µF to 10µF
  • Low long term stability of 100ppm/1000hr
  • Maximum line regulation is 20µV/V at 25°C
  • Maximum load regulation is 25µV/mA at 10mA source and sink current
  • Force and sense outputs for remote sensing
