Product Overview

The CW2500 from Chemtronics is a CircuitWorks® epoxy overcoat (adhesive syringe). It is a two component, 100% solids, high temperature resistant, permanent epoxy coating for electronics circuit and component protection. When properly cured, CircuitWorks® epoxy overcoat yields a chemically inert film which prevents the effects of corrosion, moisture, oxidation, abrasion and thermal shock. The cured film can withstand brief exposure to high temperatures up to 600°F. It is ideal for pre-reflow solder resist repair, electrically insulative coating helps prevent electrical discharge and will not be removed by solvent cleaners. CircuitWorks® epoxy overcoat can be used or electronics applications in circuit board manufacturing, data communications, aerospace, instrumentation, controls, general maintenance and repair. It has excellent resistance to water based cleaners and most organic solvents and generally compatible with materials used in printed circuit board fabrication.

  • 7.4g (0.26oz) total, 4g (0.14oz) adhesive, 3.4g (0.12oz) hardener
  • 24hr at 25°C cure schedule, >400V/mil DC dielectric breakdown, >1 x 10^4ohm insulation resistance
  • Service temperature range from -55°F to 192°F, short term exposure of ≤ 600°F (1 minute)
