Product Overview
The 8624 from B&K Precision is an 8600 series programmable DC electronic load. It provides performance of modular system DC electronic load in a compact bench top form factor. With fast transient operation speeds and high 16bit measurement resolution, this standalone DC load can be used for testing and evaluating a variety of DC sources such as DC power supplies, DC/DC converters, batteries, battery chargers and photovoltaic arrays. It features remote sense analogue current control and monitoring, thermostatically controlled fan, CR-LED mode to simulate loading behaviour of LEDs. The DC load can operate in CC, CV, CR and CW mode and be configured to provide a dynamically changing load to DC source with fast load switching times. Versatile internal, external and remote triggering options allow dynamic load behaviour to be synchronized with other events. To ensure reliability of testing, 8600 series provides power-on system self test and numerous protections.

- 110V/220V ±10%, 50Hz/60Hz AC input and 0°C to 40°C operating temperature
- EN61010-1:2001, EU low voltage directive 2006/95/EC approved, USB (USBTMC), GPIB or RS232 interfaces
- OVP/OCP/OPP/OTP including local and remote reverse voltage (LRV/RRV) protection
- Built-in battery test function with voltage level, capacity level and timer stop conditions
- 16bit voltage and current measurement system providing 1mV/0.1mA resolution
- List mode function, transient mode up to 25KHz in CC mode
- Store and recall up to 100 setups, adjustable slew rate in CC mode
- Flexible triggering options via front panel, external input, timer or bus
- Dimension is 439mm x 266mm x 590mm (W x H x D) and weight is 64.4Kg
