Product Overview

ADIN2111 is a low power, low complexity, two-Ethernet port switch with integrated 10BASE-T1L PHYs and one serial peripheral interface (SPI) port. The device is designed for industrial Ethernet applications using low power constrained nodes and is compliant with the IEEE® 802.3cg-2019™ Ethernet standard for long reach 10Mbps single pair Ethernet (SPE). The switch (cut through or store and forward) supports various routing configurations between the two Ethernet ports and the SPI host port providing a flexible solution for line, daisy-chain, or ring network topologies. It has an integrated voltage supply monitoring circuit and power-on reset (POR) circuitry to improve system level robustness. It is used in application such as building automation and fire safety, factory automation, edge sensors and actuators, condition monitoring and machine connectivity etc.

  • Supports 1V p-p and 2.4V p-p transmit levels
  • Upto 1700 meters with 1V p-p transmit level, upto 1700 meters with 2.4V p-p transmit level
  • Single supply is 1V p-p: 90mW typ, dual supply 1V p-p: 77mW typ
  • 16MAC addresses supported for frame forwarding
  • MDIO memory map accessible via SPI
  • Frame generator and checker, multiple loopback modes
  • Port dedicated statistics counters, link and cable diagnostics
  • Single or dual supply with 1.8V or 3.3V operation
  • Operating temperature is -40°C to +85°C
  • Packaging style is 48-lead LFCSP
