Are there special parameters that one has over the other?
I currently have the UT351E, but when I went to purchase more of this item, it says that it isn't available?

The UT35A family would be the replacement for the UT351E. We would need to know the complete model code including the 2 digit suffix that is located on the data label on the side of the controller to be able to give you a complete UT35A model number.
The UT35A function identically to the UT351E. The UT35A has the addition of a small PLC built into it that can be programmed using ladder logic for advanced calculations and logic. Below is a link to the UTAdvanced series micro site which the UT35A is a member.
