Product Overview

The TEP 150WI series isolated DC/DC Converter Module features a wide input range, adjustable output voltage and constant current mode output limit. The modules have originally been designed for harsh industrial environment. High EMC immunity against surge, burst, radiated and conducted disturbances and the shock/vibration and thermal shock resistance make them very popular for stringent requirements. At 100% load the current characteristics goes from constant voltage to constant current what makes the units also suitable for battery charger applications. With protection against over-temperature, overload, short-circuit, reverse input, over-voltage and input undervoltage lockout they are hard to destroy.

A: 
According to datasheet, this DC-DC converter is not internally fused. A 10A slow blow fuse should connected to supply line of DC-DC converter to provide protection against reverse polarized input. Suggested part number of fuse is 0218010.MXEP from Littelfuse.
