Product Overview

The TUSB7320EVM is a free standing reference design for TUSB7320 two port PCIe based SuperSpeed USB (USB 3.0) extensible host controller (xHCI). It is used to evaluate system compatibility. A Microsoft WHQL certified xHCI compliant driver stack is provided as well. The TUSB7340 is a USB 3.0 xHCI 0.96 compliant host controller that supports up to four downstream ports. The TUSB7320 is fully backwards compatible to USB 2.0 supporting USB peripherals and hubs that support all data transfer speeds USB 2.0 Low speed(1.5Mbps), USB 2.0 full speed (12Mbps), USB 2.0 high speed (480Mbps) as well as SuperSpeed USB (5Gbps). A SuperSpeed peripheral is required to evaluate SuperSpeed data transfer. The TUSB7320 DEMO board is a PCI Express X1 Standard Height card. The dimension of the board is 4.376 inche by 2.571 inche.
