Product Overview

The TPS79601DCQR is a low-dropout (LDO) low-power Linear Voltage Regulator features high power-supply rejection ratio (PSRR), ultralow-noise, fast start-up and excellent line and load transient responses. The device is stable with a small 1µF ceramic capacitor on the output. It uses an advanced, proprietary BiCMOS fabrication process to yield extremely low dropout voltages. The device achieves fast start-up times while consuming very low quiescent current. Moreover, when the device is placed in standby mode, the supply current is reduced to less than 1µA. Applications with analog components that are noise sensitive, such as portable RF electronics, benefit from the high PSRR, low noise features and need fast response time. It combines the high performance required of many RF and precision analog applications with low current consumption. High PSRR is provided by a high-gain, high-bandwidth error loop with good supply rejection at very low headroom (VIN - VOUT).
