Product Overview

The TPS62260LED-338 is an evaluation module controls the colour and brightness of a lamp or runs an automatic colour light animation program. The colour is generated by three LEDs (red, green and blue). An MSP430 ultra low power microcontroller controls the brightness of each LED with constant current generated by three TPS62260 buck converters, one for each LED. The evaluation module is pin compatible with the TPS62240 buck converter for lower current LED applications and the TPS62290 for higher current LED applications.
  • Supply voltage ranges from 2V to 6V
  • TPS62260 provides up to 600mA output current from a single Li ion cell
  • TPS62260 operates at 2.25MHz fixed switching frequency
  • TPS62260 enters into power save mode operation at light load currents to maintain high efficiency
  • Quiescent current is typically 15μA
