MSP-EXP430G2 Launch Pad is easy-to-use Flash programmer and debugging tool for the MSP430G2xx Value Line microcontrollers. It features everything users need to start developing on an MSP430 microcontroller device. It has on-board emulation for programming and debugging and features a 14/20 pin DIP socket, on-board buttons and LEDs & Booster Pack-compatible pinouts that support a wide range of plug-in modules for added functionality.

TI MSP-EXP430G2 Launchpad I originally purchased this to expand my knowledge beyond the Arduino Uno. After running through the tutorials and working through a book written about the M-430, I put it in storage. I had learned what I wanted to learn. I recently dusted it off and used it to build the class robot project from the Electronic Interfaces Class offered through EDx. I found the board and software to be very easy to use. A perfect platform for prototyping ideas. A great value for the price. April 7, 2015
Small and versatile The device is much smaller than I thought it would be (a little larger than a credit card). Overall, I think it is an excellent buy for its price. The software installation took a little while for ccs, but in the end it worked out. It has lots of documentation and samples online. March 31, 2015
MSP-EXP430G2 The MSP-EXP430G2 is a great little unit. The best part for me was that the programming software has a very similar feel to the Arduino programming software so i was up and running very quickly. February 17, 2015

430BOOST-CC110L RF module booster from TI pack can be used to wireless connectivity. The CC110L RF BoosterPack is a low-power wireless transceiver extension kit for use with the Texas Instruments MSP-EXP430G2 LaunchPad development kit. Based on the CC110L device, the on-board Anaren Integrated Radio (AIR) A110LR09A radio module with integrated antenna operates in the European 868-870MHz and US 902-928MHz ISM bands. The included software application, called AIR BoosterStack, demonstrates an example sensor network as well as network status reporting.
