Product Overview

The LP38502ATJ-EV is an evaluation board for LP38502, a 1.5A low dropout (LDO) linear regulator in the TO263 thin package which has an adjustable output voltage (set by external resistors). This ultra low dropout linear regulator respond very quickly to step changes in load, which makes them suitable for low voltage microprocessor applications. Developed on a CMOS process, (utilizing a PMOS pass transistor), the LP38502A has low quiescent current that changes little with load current.
