Product Overview

The LMX25311146EVAL is an evaluation board for LMX2531, a low power, high performance frequency synthesizer system which includes a fully integrated delta sigma PLL and VCO with fully integrated tank circuit. The third and fourth poles are also integrated and also adjustable. Also included are integrated ultra low noise and high precision LDOs for the PLL and VCO which give higher supply noise immunity and also more consistent performance. The board enables all performance measurements with no additional support circuitry. The evaluation board consists of a LMX2531 device and a cable assembly. The cable assembly is bundled with the evaluation board for connecting to a PC through the parallel printer port. By means of MICROWIRE serial port emulation, the Codeloader software included can be run on a PC to facilitate the LMX2531 internal register programming for the evaluation and measurement.
