Product Overview

The LM1084IS-3.3/NOPB is a low dropout Positive Voltage Regulator with a dropout of 3.3V at 5A of load current. The device has the same pin out as TI's industry standard LM317. Fixed output voltage versions integrate the adjust resistors. The LM1084 circuit includes a Zener trimmed band gap reference, current limiting and thermal shutdown.

This device has limited built-in ESD protection, leads should be shorted together or the device placed in conductive foam during storage or handling to prevent electrostatic damage to the MOS gates.
